favorite trek vs. wars fanfic author of all time
this is the first time i've done this, but please take my poll. These are my favorites, although I didn't incluse Stravo cuz although starcrossed kicks ass, it isn't done yet.

All of them except portal are very good, I'd recomend any of them. But my of the ones listed my favorite is Mike Januarys "Galaxy of War".
Hey you should have Marks and Starvos fanfics up there to. My favorite fanfic of all time, and still uncompleted damnit is Chuck's "Nobody Gets Out Alive: Wake of Twilight".

I don't remember the names, actually. The latest I read was Mike's and while I liked the more accurate portrayal of technology I didn't enjoy the story very well (specially since everything seemed so out of character) - plus the humans in SW galaxy explanation, eww
There was one story about a single ISD getting into the SW galaxy, and while the power levels were really balanced (the ISD was like 10 or 20 times better than a Galaxy instead of millions), and apparently not a single turbolaser was shot (probably because he assumed that the no-laser idiocy would apply) basically beat the shit out of everything with Ion cannons and destroyed entire outposts and small fleets. I didn't like the ending (I think it was a cloaked fed ship going under the ISD and drilling into the ionization chamber). Also the captain of the ISD was a complete moron.
So, I would vote for Wong, I guess.

I'd like to correct my previous post. Where I said "out of character" I really meant "over-the-top", meaning character personalities. Specially imperials.
I would also have liked to see Borgs actually being shot by blasters (my guess is that *if* they could adapt they might be able to take *maybe* two shots, or just always a single shot, with power ranging from "just make a hole in human flesh" to "really-well armored stormtrooper" in the latter stages)

Hardly. Darth Wong strengthened the Borg to make it more interesting.Lex wrote:i vote for conquest...it's most realistic....

I personally prefer MarkS' fiction, but since it is not over yet...
I'd say January, a most prolific and talented author.
