Yes, thank you, the Ix'agal revolts were so big for two reasons--
1--The mages pissed the entire population off.
2--The nature of the events that precipitated the occupation (Tycho's unconditional abandonment of the CoG) created the conditions not only for revolts of the size experienced, but
even still larger revolts. His
entire military was unemployed, within easy access of weaponry, and extremely pissed at the occupation authority. That's millions of trained personnel ready to fight, just to start with, and
then they got funding and support from foreign intelligence services.
