Multiple lesions on his arteries, so doctor recommended surgery.

Well, hope he's OK.

Kind of surprised though, I didn't realize he had bad health.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I didn't either.

I guess all the fast food and all the Hillary induced stress could do it to anyone though. :)

Healthy men can still have heart trouble, just ask Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I seriously doubt that he had a worse diet or habits than most of my friends so I'm pretty sure he'll have a quick recovery. I hope he makes it through without any complications.

If I was married to Hitlery, I mean Hillary, I'd probably be dead from a heart attack by age 40, that is if I didn't commit suicide first.

Healthy men who juiced for years, you mean?

I hope he recovers well. If they caught it before there was an event he will hopefully be well enough.

It sounds like they did, he was having only mild chest pains and there was no immediate indications of problems during his first battery of tests.

Good luck Mr. President, we're all rooting for you.

You'd be surprised, but up at Columbia Presbyterian this operation is more or less routine, despite it's complexity.

 When the last time you read the news, 1990? Clinton was taking care of business on the extra-marital express, probably starting with the bridesmaids at his wedding reception. If anything gave him a cardiovascular problem, it was because his heart didn't have enough looove for all the ladies he was bangin' (especially considering that many of them were plus size and needed extra oomph), and he strained it in the process. He's getting on in the years, after all.

Not that good but it would be survivable.

Routine doesn't mean that the threat to his life wasn't serious.

Surgery is never regarded as "routine" in the medical community and there is increasing concern that this attitude is leading to frivolous and thus unneccessarily risking operations for cosmetic or other purposes because surgery is being viewed less and less as an invasive, traumatic measure which is not to be taken lightly.

OK, true.

"Routine" is a poor choice of words, and I certainly agree about needless cosmetic stuff.

My point is only that Presbyterian is a damn good hospital for this sort of thing.

Well, I don't agree with Clinton on much politically, and I remain convinced that he is a man of less than sterling character, to put it mildly, but my dislike of his politics and character does not extend to ill-wishing. On the contrary, I wish him all the best and hope he has a complete and speedy recovery. Get well Mr. Clinton.

This also came as quite a shock to me, but then again I didn't quite realize how old he is. Good luck to him, and his family.

But if he wasn't married to Hitlery he wouldn't have to have those extra-marital relationships with SAP/BJ among others, thus sparing himself from much effort and strain as you say. Thus being married to Hillary is still responsible, albeit in an indirect way for his heart condition.

All kidding aside, I hope he makes a full recovery.
