In her new book, Kelley found out from Sharon Bush, the sister-in-law of Numbnuts, that he did lines of coke in the White House when his daddy was President. Now I don't know if this is true (although Kelley's book about Frank "just the kneecaps, boys" Sinatra was pretty good), but I wonder if news shows will cover this for a month like they did with the Shit Boat Liars for Bush.

I'm not holding my breath for the "Liberal Media" to be fair.

It wasn't the ad itself, it was the fact that news outlets -especially cable news shows played it over and over and brought the Shit Boaters on every night for a month -with little or no rebuttal.

MoveOn vs The Shit Boaters? Apples and Coconuts. The MoveOn ads are truthful, whereas every word in the Shit Boat ads is a lie, including "and" and "the".

Because they were lies and TV stations are not supposed to air ads they know -or should know- are false.

The ones that are demonstrably false, yes. Here in the DFW area, a guy named Ed Wallace has gotten car ads yanked from TV, radio -even the local papers.

Demonstrably false doesn't include ads that, for example make a would-be pickup buyer believe he's going to fuck playmates if he buys the latest truck. It's for outright lies.
