As I said, I think they would make an arrangement with the Federation. The Federation expends all its resources to provide food for the Coruscant...and in exchange, Palpatine wipes out the Feddies' enemies (Borg? Dominion?) and BDZ's their homeworlds with the Lusankya.

But would palpy do that?

I mean he might take out the borg, but the dominion would require him to trust his new 'allies'(we all know he is planning a double cross) to either get there, via the wormhole, or to have to trust their information for the location of the Founders homeworld.

The borg he could take as they come and then try and take the battle to them. Did they keep track of the location of the borg encounter in Q Who? If so he could start from there.

Wonder what would happen is the borg were able to asimilate the emporer?

Not to be morbid or anything, but if you're in the Palpatine Era, this solves the problem for the rest of the population. I mean, what's the population of Coruscant? Low quadrillions maybe? Say one quadrillion and about half of that dies.

Multiply that times, say, 150 pounds per citizen, and you have enough Soylent Green to last practically forever. More than enough to feed the remaining population and support a galactic invasion using the Lusankya and whatever else is handy.

You're right. Palpatine will probably kill off the nonhumans and give their supplies to the humans, as Rogue squadron speculated Isard would do.

If there comes one million ships to Coruscant and lands, there, we have almost sevenhundred ships per minute, that are grounded on the planet. Even if each one stays for only ten minutes, we get 7,000 ships, that will participate in the transit.
small problem. the federation and most other empires within the alpha q only have a few thousand ships apiece at most. tens of thousands at their absolute greatest, according to most canon sources.

sending millions of ships simply isn't feasible for the majority of alpha quadrant powers.
I was talking about SW-vessels, that are on Coruscant, when it is thrown into the Alpha-Quadrant. Because of that i said "participate in the transit".

what type of vessels though? there's unlikely to be millions of transport vessels and frigate class ships. i could see millions of personal hovercars and the like, but even then it's not likely you'd have enough to evacuate everyone.

That should work, provided he do so quietly. If even a hint of that leaked outside, that would be a major obstruction to any sort of diplomatic mission...

Coruscant quite simply can't conquer anything in any reasonable amount of time before weapon stocks and food disapear.

They would be better suited to trade various technologies for trade contracts to get what they need. They do that, they can begin securing a better position. Years down the road they use their technology to do as they wish, not months down the road.
There is no indication the AQ can produce enough to support their populations and Coruscan'ts trillion. Plus they can't make things like spare parts or build things to help maintain it. Coruscant will be a dead ball in space. Of there there can be no question. This is a scenario where SW cannot win. Only question is how many escape and survive elsewhere, and their best odds are pirating or selling the tech.
