EDIT: forgot another thing. The blue warp grills can be redesigned or completely left off. There could also be grills of almost any shape and color added to the gravitic drive element access panels (the panels on the wings, canards, and tail) too...

Do you both side from scratch or do you make just one side then copy&paste to make a whole ship. I use the second method as it's possible to make a lot detail with little work and still keep craft symmertical.

Nah, if that was really riced up, it would have a bunch of VTech stickers and neon lighting all over. That, and a muffler sticking a mile out the back that looks like someone took a shotgun to it, making it sputter like mad. (yes, I've seen cars like that IRL....)

Nah, this is a GOOD Rice-Up job I'll see about the Neons tho, altho the muffler-out-the-back idea gives me an idea to extend the center Torch-Drive nozzle quite a bit further out.

I'd say from two to twenty hours (not consecutive, natch) depending on complexity of the subject.
Also, I apologize for my ugliness earlier, but I'm feeling HELLA peevish today and I'm in no mood whatsoever for spam or other bullshit. Wanna come on AIM?
Update: Removed the silly warp grill, tweaked the engine, lengthened the gatling barrels a bit, and slightly recontoured the nose around the sensor windows.
As for paint, I'm thinking about a black tribal pattern (actually very dark gray) with red lights or accents. Maybe I'll read a few motorcycle-custom or hot-rod mags for ideas...
