Dean over Bush, Even For Conservatives?

Just what it says. I want to see how Dean would've been supported.

I'd go for Dean. As it is, working on deciding between independent candidates now.

Dean

Dean, oh definately Dean.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

Despite his "uphoar," if I could vote, it would be him.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

I'm a realist; there's no real way to get him on the proper ballet.. ballot? balot? PEICE OF PAPER! at this point, now.

Christ, Durandal, will you get off this kick about how every vote not for Kerry is a vote for Bush? You know something? Everyone in the Bush camp says the reverse. It's not a vote for either of them; it's a vote for whoever you're voting for. As both candidates are deprived of your vote, it doesn't directly benefit either one.

Sorry, I put down other third party, but forgot to add the additional blank after that to validate that poll option.

Do you want me to add it, so as to show who I would vote for, even though that would invalidate the early votes?

This board is hardly representative of the US population.

No kidding. :)

Still, it's not like we are all uniform thinkers around here. Look at all the debates. Not that 88% of America likes Dean, its just that its kind of a crazy stat.

WELL SAID!

Its better to at least half a partially fair poll than a consistently unfair one.

You do realize that in a race in which the incumbent is favored to win, voting for a minor third party ticket that doesn't even appear on most ballets instead of voting for the opposition does indeed benefit the incumbent?

Dean. I don't agree with all of his positions by a long shot, or even most of them, but he'd be a damn sight better than Clown A or Clown B.

If those were the only choice, I wouldn't vote.

Dean I would have been more than happy to vote for had he not abandoned his fiscal responsibility. Unfortunately he didn't show any interest in that and was talking about some fairly hefty social welfare programs.

See boys and girls, this attitude is why we haven't had an independent President since the first George W, and the major parties get to take states for granted.

It's also what happens when both parties have nominated the most feckless, weasely, and gutless son of bitches they could and they're desperate for votes. They have to make you feel guilty and evil for not voting for their canidate because they're both shit heads that no one in their right mind would vote for.
