Christ, Durandal, will you get off this kick about how every vote not for Kerry is a vote for Bush? You know something? Everyone in the Bush camp says the reverse. It's not a vote for either of them; it's a vote for whoever you're voting for. As both candidates are deprived of your vote, it doesn't directly benefit either one.

You do realize that in a race in which the incumbent is favored to win, voting for a minor third party ticket that doesn't even appear on most ballets instead of voting for the opposition does indeed benefit the incumbent?

If those were the only choice, I wouldn't vote.

Dean I would have been more than happy to vote for had he not abandoned his fiscal responsibility. Unfortunately he didn't show any interest in that and was talking about some fairly hefty social welfare programs.

See boys and girls, this attitude is why we haven't had an independent President since the first George W, and the major parties get to take states for granted.

It's also what happens when both parties have nominated the most feckless, weasely, and gutless son of bitches they could and they're desperate for votes.
