Children among supporters of radical cleric

Post by MKSheppard »

Supporters of radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr carry a RPG launcher and a mortar tube in Sadr City, Baghdad, Iraq

Take a look at the BOY on the left. This is the kind of scum we're facing,
they use children as combatants, and then when the kids are blown away
along with their elders, scream about how the evil Yankee pigdogs are
killing children.

This is no more newsworthy than finding the planet is not flat. Such terrorist cells use kids who are easy to corrupt and turn to a cause, especially if indoctrinated from birth.

Hell, the Tamil Tigers were run by two kids; a terrorist organisation with hundreds going against Sri Lanka's gov't.

Sick, most certainly. A part of life for most decrepit nations? Yes.

Sorry Shep, had to edit your title. You know our policy about titles like "Fuck." "WTF?!" "OMG?!?!?!"

This should not be surprising anyone. Kids have been used by these groups for a long time. The best way to create someone who is willing to blow himself up for a cause is to get them while they're young.

So "Oh my God"....is now a curse word? :wtf:

Seriously, I'm leaning towards a carpet MOABing of Sadr City to solve
our problem.

No, you're not getting me. People want to know what the thread is about. A title like "OMG" says NOTHING about the thread.

That would be taking a very large step into a particularly vile shitstorm.

Read the rule on descriptive thread titles.

And yes, poor shitholes have been using child soldiers for a long time (ever since guns became light enough for them to carry, I assume). A lot of that shit is going on in Africa, in case you didn't know.

Have a very nice day.

I wonder if the use of Napalm would be warranted against these guys; near
instant death if you're in the center of the napalm strike, and no pesky dud
bombs to give the peaceniks fits...

One of the reasons that George Bush Sr. never took down Saddam was the fear of chaos in the ensuing power vacuum. George W. Bush did not seem to be concerned about this. Looks like the old man was right, and the son was wrong. How long do you think this is going to last?

Until they fight one another in a battle to the death. On pay-per-view, of course.

Seriously, what did they think, trying to occupy a country with 19 million people the size of Germany with less than 250,000 troops. Yeah, sounds like a genius plan to me...

And maybe 50,000 of those are combat troops. And we had idiot Rummy complaining that we didn't need more.

We needed at least what was in the Gulf War to hold the country; and we need to ban Washington from screwing with military decisions, because it seems to me we're seing LBJ-brand waffling.

Rummie also nixed the plan to put 5,000 MPs into Bahgdad the moment it was taken. Those weeks of chaos, lawlessness, and looting helped wear out the Americans welcome. Got to love Dubbya's "Great Secretary of Defense."
