I'm getting this game within the first minute of the store opening, and not doing ANYTHING else that day.

I already have that entire week booked off work. And soon I'm going to have to start laying in the caffiene and pizza provisions. It will be a long seige...

I really wish I could "get" the whole Halo thing. Is it just that it's the first FPS to make it big on consoles of this generation or what? I've played better on PC, many better.
History? I love history! First, something happens, then, something else happens! It's so sequential!! Thank you first guy, for writing things down!

The PC version isn't nearly as fun as the Box version.

Why not? As far as I know, the PC version even does more.

The only way this can be construed as true is if you are talking about multi player. Thing is, splitscreen is fucking stupid.

PC Halo is superior to X-Box Halo because of a superior control system and multiplayer with more then 4 people is easier to arrange and cheaper to conduct.

X-Box is only good for immediately plug & play with friends on one X-Box, and coop. Though Coop is important. Important enough many people never bought the PC version because it lacked it.

I think he means he's played better FPSes on the PC.

Yeah, when it runs like a slideshow, it tends not to be as fun. They'd better do a better job with the PC/Mac ports this time around, because the Halo port was just disgraceful.

I tend to like FPS's and racers and action games more on consol because I know they'll run smooth and not bug out. While they're prettier on computer, I don't have a.) the money, and b.) the time, to keep upgrading my computer to play the high-end games. I'd rather take the hit in graphics (which really isn't that much anymore) for the added stability and price difference. So to address your question, while the PC does more, it also requires more money and time to get going. And there's no more fun than kicking your friends collective asses in a frag fest right in your bedroom, so you can mock them in person.

Halo on my PC runs smoother then Halo does on any X-Box I've played. And I have my settings set higher.
