Go Ventura!

Gov. Ventura Prefers Garbage Man to Democrat Senator
http://www.newsmax.com/showinsidecover. ... 1/1/142447
Independent Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is still so disgusted about how Democrats danced on Sen. Paul Wellstone's grave that he says he'd appoint a garbage man rather than a Dem to complete the late senator's term.
Ventura, who left the Wellstone memorial early, his wife in tears, said he felt "very used and abused" at the "mean-spirited" rally.

"I'll return the favor now," he said. "Always remember, we SEALs, we don't get mad - we get even."
Damn Strait! To bad the big lunk can't get himself Elected President(Speaking of Which Iraq would be a hole in the ground by now with him)

He acutal said as much on a side note
Hey If I was the President right now I'd do just like Bush, I'd go to the UN, Except it would be for a Resoultion to have them ready standing by to clean up the mess after we go in, The UN is helpful don't get me wrong but frankly the UN is not the person you go to first when your going to War, you go to your people first and not a big giant Mutlinational Orgization, They are not the people who desided they'd like you as President, They are not the people who tell you no, Only Americans can do that.
Jessey Ventura in a Radio Interview last month

Anyway back to the main topic I'm glad he's the man in their

I wish he'd run again, though I'm also glad he has his priorities straight, family first, and politics second.

While I don't agree with most of his politics, I respect the man for serving in the military, have the guts to run for office, running for office as a independent, and telling it as it is, especilaly telling it how it is too the media.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

I dont agree with everything he does or says, but I respect him for saying what he thinks. I skimmed through his book , what I read was interesting.
