Same as the perfectly intact we can just up and fly it away saucer section in Generations....

Obviously, but they are still erupting out the back of it. Clearly, the Defiant got that plane on it's six and got it's ass shot off.

I think its not entirely intact,there is a hole on the ship look close to the ground a dark spot

hence the refrence in the past by distorters of fact on the Trek side that the Saucer section was "Perfectly Intact"

Those people could at least reference to the front of the saucer litteraly slicing through mountains to indicate hull integrity.

Watch the last scene in Generations where Data finds Spot. The hull is clearly ripped open very broadly, as that entire compartment was in broad daylight.

Besides, Federation hulls can be ripped open by angry bugged eyed monsters in zero gravity (a S8472 did it and in zero gravity, there is very little leverage). They just aren't that strong.

Strange how the hull of the ship imediately after the crash was very much intact. No damage shown to any portions of the ship that tore through the mountain and hills. The forward windows all survived the crash. Even the shot of the shuttles on the saucer show absolutely no damage.

Perhaps more objective examples, like the one's Alyeska has submitted, are far more reliable sources to gauge Federation hull strength.

Species 8472's ability to tear through hull plating and SIF fields is an indication of their enormous strength and durability, not weakness of Federation hulls.

I'm certain Alyeska could rattle off several examples of Federation hulls withstanding impressive amounts of punishment and remaining intact.

I can count the number of Voyager episodes I've seen on two hands. While I know little about Voyager, I know a fair amount on the episodes I have seen. Voyager was never aired regularly here. Call it good luck I didn't entice myself into watching that crap.
