Halloween is my thrid favourite pagan holiday. (First being Tulzscha Day and second being Christmas)

So I was wondering how you celebrated Halloween.

Just in case you were wondering, I dressed up like Silent Bob and got half a pillow case of candy!

I treat Halloween like any other day. In other words I didn't celebrate it.

Other...I helped get donations for Habitat for Humanity, since I feel they do good work. Of course, it meant I got to dress up, which is always fun.

Sat at home, read Carnage and Culture: Landmark Battles in the Rise of Western Power by Victor Davis Hanson, had some pork while occasionally snatching some Tootsie Rolls out of our candy bow , and passed out candy liberally to the kids who came by (as opposed to my frugal little brother, who in past years gave merely one piece of candy to each kid).

At least three Spider-mans, one Darth Maul IIRC, and one little three year old in a Tigger suit.

It was cold and rainy, and I didn't have a costume, so I stayed home. And, since we only had 2 kids come by, and my mom was there, she handed out the candy. It was like any other day.

Next year, Halloween will be on a Friday, so I might do something.

I went to my dad's, that was ok, but then my roommate that was back at the house decided to ignore any and all attempts by me and my boyfriend (who was working, he's a LPN at a hospital near here) to call him on the phone. My dad and I had to go back across the river back to me and my bf's house at midnight, and we could hear the music blasting from half a block away! Then we got out of the car and tried everything we could to get that asshole's attention. Doorbell, Knocks on front door, Banging on Back door, Shouting like Banshees from the Street (it's an upstairs apartment)... all had no effect on the asshole's Wall of Ignorance™! It took me heaving a fucking ROCK through the fucking window to get his attention!!! Then he wouldn't let us in, so I went back to my dad's house across the river....
The next morning, my hubby informs me that Asshole JUMPED OUT THE FUCKING SECOND STORY WINDOW (this is no ordinary 2.5-3 meter story. Try *4* meters, plus the extra foot for the floor thickness, PLUS ANOTHER METER for the crawlspace below the fucking first story!!! He somehow managed not to get a compound femur fracture or slipped disks or whatnot, and scurried off to the French Quarter (this boy is only 18. do the math)... THEN my other roommate's ex stole a fucking car from somebody just HOURS after they broke up! Roomate no. 3? He got outta jail 4 days ago and promptly disappeared... Turns out he made off for the French Quarter too...
Happy Fucking Halloween.

I stayed at home and watched Vampire Hunter D, subtitled for the first time. I must say I like the dub better. Never thought I'd say that about a dub made in 1985. :)

Stayed home keeping the lights off to keep the candy mooching twerps away.

Not that it would matter. Last year I bought a bunch of candy and not a single kid came to my house. I just live in a nice (only two bars and two convience stores within walking distance) neighborhood.

I went to a friends house to watch tv. Not many kids came by. Every year the number of kids seems to wane. Ive heard now that lots of kids go to the malls, and each store hands out candy.

I stayed home and played GameCube, wanted to go trick or treating, but my mom says I'm too old. But a chick I know at school was allowed to trick or treat and she gave me a bag of candy, so it all worked out. My friends apparantly went Halloween Caroling.

You might change your mind once you saw the bars.

One is a tiny tiny dive (The Rusty Nail) that looks like more of a rat hole from the outside than Moe's on the Simpsons'

The rather nice looking and rather busy bar nearest to me is called the "C Note Lounge". It is a shitkicker, I mean Country Western Kareoke bar.

So if that's your thing I coud see how that'd be cool but not me. :)
