And besides, Verilon, these people are terrorists. They were there in the hostage situation, ready to kill innocent people if necessary. They deserve this.

Well, I personally don't think so. Leave my mode of thought alone. I don't particularly find it for the greater good to attack a religion as a whole. Which is what they are doing, IMO. Non-radicals may even be upsetted by this, you must realize.

This kind of tactic is long overdue. If terrorists want to use their religion as an excuse to commit atrocities, blaspheming that religion is a valid weapon in fighting them. Landover Baptist mentions in a "sermon" that we should be dipping our bullets in bacon grease. I say HELL YEAH!!!! Feed their corpses to pigs and broadcast THAT on Al Jazeera! Now that`s counter terrorism.

It's not attacking the religion as a whole. It's using their own religious beliefs in order to deter them.

It's not attacking the religion as a whole. It's using their own religious beliefs in order to deter them.

Which is, IMO, attacking the religion. Now excuse me while I cintinue killing fundies over at creationweb.

Like I said before, lets see if it has any effect (perhaps a few repeats). If it works, great. If it doesn't then try somethign else. Its more important to stop terrorism than worry about offending beliefs.

No they do these thing because they believe their god will reward them for fighting his causes. If they fail and the Russians prevent them from going to heaven it is a reason to take a second look at things and see if you really want to go through with a terrorist act.

Using ones beliefs against him is an acceptable tatic, and has been used all the way down through history. If the Russians keep doing it, I think it would prove to be a sucessful pysop.

The essence of debate is to change people's opinions and this case is no different, they are arguing against your opinions because they see logical faults in them. Now whether they are right or not becomes a mroal question which makes a nice big debate out of such a small difference in opinion. Basically what I'm trying to say is that expressing your opinions here leaves them open to coutner opinions, dont be mad thoguh some of your attackers could be a hell of a lot more considerate of the right to an opinion.

My point is that I do not wish to debate, as well as the fact that the same thing has been pointed out to me in excess of three people. Why, I don't know. You know you didn't actually have to respond to them right? Also they are entitled to be repetitive assholes in this forum. They are entitled to pick apart your opinion just as you are entitled to pick apart theirs. There is the Geneva convention but that applies only to POWs and civilians. A terrorist is actually considered a criminal in most cases and thus Russian law is allowed to works its magic. certianly the Russians could be put under some sort of inter national censure but that won't change their legal right to do what they did.
