Guys are accustomed to being insulted on their appearance, so it's not considered an offense and nobody gets disciplined for it. Women, on the other hand, are a small minority on this board and are to be treated in a more respectful fashion.
Not to mention the troubles continued harrassment of the females can cause to not only the board, but to you Mike.

Yes, but there were many more contestants and so less attention directed at any particular contestant.

Which one? the only two that anyone sane would be proud off would be her first and 2nd, the 3rd was just plain utter... appeal to the crowd.

But...all the photoshopping I did on the lighting in the third one :(

Though her smile in the (first?) was very nice. I can't even remember order now, was it Smile, Hot Panties then Skin?
History? I love history! First, something happens, then, something else happens! It's so sequential!! Thank you first guy, for writing things down!

Its not the editing, its the simple picture itself... Yes, namerie is hot... but damn appeal, if I wanted plain boobies I got limitless porn sites.

Nope. Adelaide. Didn't you read my location?

*sigh* I always think it's perfectly clear, but still everyone thinks that I'm from somewhere else. :P

The thing that says location says "The best place in the world." That implies somewhere that is either Sydney/Melbourne.

Seems to me there's an awful lot of posts in this thread that aren't posts of photos...shouldn't those posts (and this one) be forcibly moved to the commentary thread? It's pretty cluttered in this one...

I say go for it. Sure, flaring emotions and pettiness have soiled the pants of this contest, but that doesn't mean no good can come of more pics, especially now that we seem to have calmed down. This is a celebration of our beautiful ladies, a proud statement that they don't fit the geeky stereotypes, and who knows? Maybe you're just what we need to make us remember this in a good way, and forget about all the childishness.

Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated in this thread any more, so hopefully the females should not have to fear it, although I would understand if they do. However, I can promise that my dark minions will ruthlessly crush anyone who is abusive of females in any way over pictures posted in this thread.

Ha! I do look like my avater... trouble is, it's not me or I would have entered it in the contest.

And Adelaide offers a quality of life unparraleled anywhere else. We have more parks than Melbourne, lovely clean beaches, beautiful weather, affordable inner-city living (I can rent a 2-bedroom bluestone cottage in one of Adelaide's trendiest suburbs within easy walking distance of the city for $220/week) and for all the guys who are interested, we have more boobies per head of adult population than anywhere else in the world.

Personally I'm just waiting for Brisbane to beat Geelong, and then the Melburnians will have nothing to crow about... nothing! oh wait... Geelong, eh....

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Me, I'd say lock the bloody thread and call it a week. If the female folks want to post pictures of themselves, there's undoubtedly one of the "What do you look like take X" threads that pop up here from time to time, which don't usually have all the nastiness associated with a "contest" thread. And besides, I don't think I've seen a thread around here that has gotten so many off-topic splits. It's like the Hydra!
