Well, the gothic pagan thing, yes. And the major point that you're not letting the bible tell you who to screw. But if I could prove that Raphael was gay (and real), they'd find that scarier.

Hmm, gay Archangels... Too bad they don't exist. I hate having to argue withing the confies of biblical scritpure. That's why I detested having to stoop to argue with Autralopithicus last month.

99% of the time we are spawns of satan?! i don't know what women you gravitate towards, but i'm sure if you had gotten to really know the ones who have so impacted your opinion of women, you couldn't possibly say that. well, couldn't possibly say that with a shread of honesty, anyway. of course, everyone knows/has known bitches who can aptly be described as 'spawns of satan' or whatever colourful metaphor you like, but all women 99% of the time? get real.

and that's one hell of a generalization to just toss in there offhandedly when talking about how you want to stereotype LESS. or is it just that you want to stereotype some groups less and not others?

I take back whatever I said. It seems to be a mix of the two, btw. And if you read, I ssaid time and again 99% of the time. Which is still wrong. And I apologize.

i have it written in my rant that you said 99% of the time--but that doesn't make me feel any better. if someone is something 99% of the time, that's essentially what they are. and you know, i can buy 'a few women' or even 'some women' as being evil or whatever 99% of the time, but it only said 'women,' which to me means all women. which, obviously, includes me. and i don't like someone i've never spoken to before telling me that i am evil.

the princess bride is my favourite movie of all time--my best friend sarah and i can recite the entire thing (and have actually done so, in a public theatre). is tres scary that we can do that, but there it is.

I just did a rough calculation: 99% of the time equate to less than 15 minutes per day (or under 8-10 if you don't count sleeping).

I think I missinterpreted him the first time because I would have preferred if he had said 99% of women were spawns of Satan, rather than inferring that 100% of women were spawns of Satan 99% of the time. Yeesh.

*Shudder* frankly I can't satnd that movie...the book was too good. But I will admit that it had plenty of great acting...except for the idiot man in black....grr.....

Anyways, I said somewhere else that I was Satan....just don't remember in which thread....

The movie can be better if you're straight. Then you just look at Robin Wright and forget any of the sucky parts. You could look at the pirate guy, but it looks like you don't like him, hehe.

No....the acting was terrible on his part. ANd he's blond. And uglier than shit. But same could go for some of the others.

I thought the Man in Black was perfect (although not for Zaia's reasons). The whole satirical tone of the story is fleshed out perfectly by having a, shall we say, "not very macho" leading man where the butch heroic figure is supposed to be.

Eh. I just really didn't like the movie. Liked the way he sounded in the book better. Just MO.
