Hm, interesting. It just looked like a sailor's cap, like some navies still wear (russian, british, etc) was all... didn't know they had similar customs for upper education in some countries. Well, I did, sort of, but eh... still, interesting to know...

It's a slight tartan pattern on top of the red, but the lighting makes it look that way it does on the pic...
