OK, guys. How long do YOU wait to call a girl?

Long story short, I spotted a girl with a world-class ass at a party last night, worked my mojo and got her phone number.

Now, how long should I wait to call her back? I'm thinking Sunday, so that I don't seem desperate, but so that she doesn't think she's at the bottom of the priority stack.

Wait a day. If she has a world class ass, she'll have other people, too, so chances are you won't get much by making her forget about you. On the other hand, calling her immediately is not the best thing to do with things like this, IME.

I'd give her a call tomorrow at the latest. If she's as hot as you say she won't have to wait long.

Plus if you wait to long you come off as an asshole who doesn't give a shit.

Haven't any of you guys watched Swingers??? The standard protocol is to wait two days until you call her back. I suggest you follow protocol Durandal and then, when you call her, it'll be money!

Wait 1.5 days to call her back. If she's as foxy as you claim her to be her schedule will fill up rather quickly. The search for love is like a chariot race, wait to long and you loose the chance for victory, so prepare your sword and stab in the back before they get to far ahead in the game.

Personally, I have serious doubts about the usefulness of deliberate delays. It's not as if women are too stupid to figure out that you're just trying to play it cool if you wait (and if they are, then you need to go after smarter women).

Indeed, but some women expect men to play the game... actually a surprisingly large amount (that I've encountered) expect men to play the game. Its part of the sad state of things in the modern day.

That's a good quote. I might try it. However, I wouldn't draw attention to desperation but the last two sentences would make her think "awww....how sweet!". I'll let you know if it works. Do I owe you a royalty if it does?

Wong, no offense, but you have been married too long. The line was pretty smooth, but you are breaking the rules. Yes, they are stupid rules and I have no fucking clue why women must adhere to these archaic regulations, but then again, if they made sense, they wouldn't be women.

Anyway, I wait two days and Sundays don't count. Call her before 10pm and tell her you were going out saturday and wanted to know if she wanted to come. And have a destination. Movies, dinner, concert, something, just have a plan.

I didn't follow those rules when I picked up Rebecca. That was 13 years ago, and I'd say it worked out pretty well. These silly unwritten rules are less important than chemistry.

Woah, buddy, Put the breaks on. I'm a college student. Marriage and falling in love are not in the forefront of my mind right now. I'm looking for a girl I can have a good time with. If that good time includes sex and other orgasm-inducing activities, so much the better.

Depends...sometimes one day, sometimes two days, sometimes THAT DAY. (Even though this isn't girls of course). Most recent one was the day after, first one called me, second one two days after...y'know, that kind of thing, It varies. But make sure its within the first two days.

Ummm....read my above post....Seems to work out for most people down here. But try not to call the very same day...not always a good thing.
