I know this has to have been done before, but can anyone out there please post a close up view of the X-Wings and Ties in AOTC. No matter how many times i watch AOTC with the directors commentary on i still cant see the fighters in Coruscant. I will finally get some sleep on the mater if some one can help me out. I was also the guy who coulndt see that figure in the star destroyer model about a month back

And is it just my version that is messed up but on the ANH DVD when the Ties attack the Falcon some Ties have like a digital box around it that usually means that the DVD was programmed wrong or something

Its not just you. Those are matte boxes from when the TIE models were originally shot on a blue screen and when they had to matte them onto the space background. The boxes are more pronounced now then on the VHS release due to the extensive cleaning and recoloring Lucasfilm made to the original film before transfering it over to the HD digital source they now have.Tychu wrote:And is it just my version that is messed up but on the ANH DVD when the Ties attack the Falcon some Ties have like a digital box around it that usually means that the DVD was programmed wrong or something

Re: Easter Eggs
I saw it on the first glance. But the following is based solely on my recollection, since I'm not going out to rent a DVD in the middle of a Hurricane.Tychu wrote:I know this has to have been done before, but can anyone out there please post a close up view of the X-Wings and Ties in AOTC. You should see it in the upper left-hand corner of the screen in the shot that comes immediately after Obi-Wan lands in the speeder. Slow it down a bit and you'll see some familiar figures.

Yeah, just remember that I'm going purely off recollection. But I do know for certain that in one shot three objects that resemble TIEs passed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.Tychu wrote:ok thanx, the commentary people say its when Anakin almost hits that big brown thing when hes diving the speeder
