Wedge and Keyan Farlander were both important, too. I'm sure they probably received medals, and they DEFINITELY both got special mission patches which were among the most prestigious ever made.

As to Chewie, I read the comic adaption once. (how does that stand on the canon sclae anyway?) It said that Chewie would get a medal but he'd have tyo put it on himself..space pirncesses aint that tall.Macross wrote:I think Wedge was just vocalizing what everyone else was thinking and muttering about. Wedge does redeem himself later in the battle when he saves Luke from that TIE. I always found it odd that neither Wedge nor the Y-Wing pilot that survived were at the medal ceremony. Doesnt Wedge deserve a medal too??? And Chewbacca, he was there in the Millenium Falcon! Why no medal for him???
