And then talks about 'outsourcing to Afghan warlords'.
People don't like the word. It has negative overtones in the US. By using it to descibe the warlord use, he ties Bush to outsoucing companies or at least tries to.
Hmm... now Kerry seems a little better on point and making Georgie sweat a bit.

Oil an emergency?! It's about time, Brigadier, that the leaders of this planet of yours realised that to remain dependent upon a mineral slime simply doesn't make sense.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
Oooo, Kerry says the President has the right to preemptive war. Interesting. Wonder what the looks on the peacniks look like at the moment.

I know it has a negative connotation here (I live in the U.S. :-p ), it just sounds like a weird use of it.

War of any kind is bad in their opinion. Even Kerry knows better that to attempt to appease those that far to the left.

Probably a complete distortion of Kerry's position, but it was a good hit.

He just kicked him in the ribs with it, really. A good verbal beating on that one.
Bush seems to a lateral, and brings up the WCC.
