All they've done is taken an early-Stormtrooper helmet and placed it on a Clonetrooper from Geonosis body.Is that a fake? Did they just cut and paste a CG proto-stormtrooper and just overlay it onto a blue screen or did they actually build real armored suits for Episode III?

Not true. Ulic Qel-Droma and Exar Kun attacked Coruscant during the Sith War...500 years after the Great Hyperspace War. Kun even held the Senate transfixed by the Dark Side as he murdered the Chancellor when he rescued Qel-Droma.JME2 wrote:President Sharky wrote:[So, at this point in the SW universe, the Serpartists do what no one has been able to do since the Great Hyperspace War -- attack Coruscant itself.
Since this time the Sith Lord IS the Chancellor, I suspect anything on the planet's surface won't be quite as spectacular.

And of course remember Palpatine is "kidnapped" by Dooku. Palpatine probably fixed it so they could get there in the first place.

I was thinking along the lines of orbital battles; I hadn't forgotten about Kun's little fun on the floor of the Senate Chamber.Armored Goldbar wrote:JME2 wrote:Not true. Ah. Well, in that case, carry on.President Sharky wrote: I was thinking along the lines of orbital battles; I hadn't forgotten about Kun's little fun on the floor of the Senate Chamber.

So, let's see how many times Coruscant has been attacked thus far -- that we know of, anyway:Armored Goldbar wrote:Ah. * Great Hyperspace War -- Naga Sadow landed ground forces a
* Sith War -- Exar's little ground-based fun on the Senate floor.
* Clone Wars -- See ROTS.
* Galactic Civil War -- original New Republic capture (X-Wing novels), Thrawn's asteroid strike (TLC), Clone Palpatine's attack/New Republic counter (Dark Empire).
* Yuuzhan Vong Invasion: Taking of the planet in Star by Star, recaptured in The Unifying Force.

Is this one Photoshopped? I have a sneaking suspicion that that looks like the same pose he took holding his lightsaber to Jango's throat...
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

Possibly -- but given the rumors I've read on Windu's death sequence, me thinks it's likely the real deal.Rogue 9 wrote:Is this one Photoshopped? I have a sneaking suspicion that that looks like the same pose he took holding his lightsaber to Jango's throat...

Yeah, it is. Pretty badly, too. The lighting and focus is wrong all over the place.
And I think it might be from when Windu was holding his saber against Dooku.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

They end at the end of that post. They even list the Before The Magic url on them and all have the same borders, for Kyla Cole's fucking sake. These are from the storyboard section of the site given in each.
They are fakes, but damn good ones.
I post them here so you can get an idea of how some of the
scenes will look.

Your lack of skill of spotting fakes is disturbing.Possibly -- but given the rumors I've read on Windu's death sequence, me thinks it's likely the real deal.

I have limited experience with photoshop and such; It's like with the early episodes of GTO with the fake pictures in my case...Vympel wrote:Your lack of skill of spotting fakes is disturbing.Possibly -- but given the rumors I've read on Windu's death sequence, me thinks it's likely the real deal.
That is clearly Mace mirrored from arena encounter, Anakin and Palps cut out and offset time from their AOTC discussion, no idea on when Fitso ever had a back shot, could be promo or something else.Rogue 9 wrote:Is this one Photoshopped? Mace is lit from the right, while Palps and Anakin are lit from the left, even with a multiple sourced room they would wash each others shadows out abit at least. Anakin has a shadow yet the middle equipment right behind him doesn't.
All pics here are either real or fakes based on insider info, so everything´s fine.
EDIT: I think insiders mentioned that Windu brings along a small Jedi task-force when he confronts the Chancellor, including Kit Fisto. That would explain why he´s in the photoshopped pic as well. They apparently take out the Chancellor´s Crimson Guards, before confronting him and Anakin.

They cut and pasted a CG trooper. I'm sure the trooper is the real deal, howeverIRG CommandoJoe wrote:http://home.comcast.net/~yavin_iv/ep3-trooper1.jpg
Is that a fake? Did they just cut and paste a CG proto-stormtrooper and just overlay it onto a blue screen or did they actually build real armored suits for Episode III?
1. It has been stated that no uniforms have been constructed.
2. You can see where the artist(?) tried to clean up around the trooper. (Note the series of coarse pixels on the edge of the left shoulder. I get this a lot when I clean images cut from MSPaint.)
3. Putting a CG object in front of a blue screen is redundant.

What also threw me off is, with the glare on Anakin, it looks like his hair is ROTS-esuqe, not his Padawan look from ATOC.JME2 wrote:I have limited experience with photoshop and such; It's like with the early episodes of GTO with the fake pictures in my case...Vympel wrote:Your lack of skill of spotting fakes is disturbing.Possibly -- but given the rumors I've read on Windu's death sequence, me thinks it's likely the real deal.
It has Kit fisto and the death star. It's clearly fake.JME2 wrote:Possibly -- but given the rumors I've read on Windu's death sequence, me thinks it's likely the real deal.Rogue 9 wrote:Is this one Photoshopped?
