Here in Sweden, only the widescreen edition is available (thankfully!).

I found the 2nd picture to be the most interesting, since it's possible to see the beam/shield interaction, it's actually possible to see where the beam penetrates the shield. In the 3rd picture, Alderaan looks a bit washed out (the result of too much color correction?).
