Was Vaders life support gear damaged in the fight with Luke?

Luke went into a dark side berserker rage I guess, not sure if it was described that way for Obi killing Maul, but Lucas likes to mirror things. Luke's rage mirrors Vader's third part of the fight when he cuts Luke's hand, he came out with wild swings, in the process getting so careless he got nicked. Same thing with Obi and Maul, Maul was schooling them until Obi used some anger, guess Sith are used to projecting fear, once it gets used on them they faulter.

No, it keeps him in practice. Vader is decidely not in good shape, considering what's left of his body is in a mobile iron lung just to keep him from dying.

His lungs may not be in good shape, but physical fitness wise besides that, he's obviously athletic and powerful/muscular. He's a body-builder in a suit, for crying out loud
