Favorite debate?

Post by XaLEv »

What was your favorite debate? It could be the one which was most amusing, most enlightening, least frustrating, or whatever. Preferably one which you participated in, but that is not required. Provide a link to it, if possible.

Mine was a Culture vs B5 First One debate over at SB, wherein I dealt with a couple of Triad cultists. I was unable to breach their Walls of Ignorance, and the debate died, but it was VERY amusing. I was actually somewhat excited waiting for their responses.

Here it is, for your viewing pleasure.

My favorite was all verbal. So I cant post a link. Yesterday i got into an evolution vs. creationism debate with a mormon stagecrew person backstage. It only took 10 minutes to completly rip through his anti-logic shields. He conceeded the point. yes!

I had a few in the Pure Star Wars, but it was in the Star Trek vs Star Wars board I think I had the best time. The 'Defiant vs Millenium Falcon' thread. heh. that one was bad ass.

The now infamous "Poppins vs. Trinity" thread, it did start out as a debate on who'd win a fight between the 2 before the weirdness started halfway through the first page. The debate subject then became more or less who'd dominate in a lovefest, and the tools they'd have at their disposal.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P
