Star Wars Chronicles: Worth it?
Like I said in the other thread, I'm looking for a bunch of really good close up pics of the ships for analysis. Now I've already got "From Star Wars to Indiana Jones" is my shopping cart, and now I'm looking at "Star Wars Chronicles". Anyone know if its worth it? Some of the reviews say it has nothing in it that is not in the OT VD or From Star Wars... but I have no idea how accurate that is and don't want to spend ~$100 on something that will bring nothing new to the table. Anyone got it and want to comment?

I got the book for my 19th birthday. While not as essential as the ICS or ITWs, I'd say it's a rather interesting book, with a proverbial crap-load of comprehensive, rare, and previously unpublished photographs of models, costumes, and props.
Not absolutely in demand, but it's a great coffee table book.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

The pictures are of much higher resolution than those in From Star Wars to Indiana Jones. I've found it to be very helpful in identifying certain features on ships, and the information on the aliens in Jabba's palace is quite comprehensive. I have sold off almost all of my previous collection of approximately 100 Star Wars books, but Chronicles is one of the half dozen which I will not part with. The pictures are beautiful; you won't find any better anywhere that I'm aware of.
