On the 27th of the month I'll be meeting the Iranian ambassador through the NZIIA (NZ institute of International Affairs - I'm a committee member of the local branch). I'll have an opportunity to ask a couple of questions after his speech, and I'll probably be able to get some time with him before or after more or less alone.
Does anyone have any questions they'd like me to ask him? I cant guarantee I'll get time to ask everything I want, but I thought I'd post this and see if there's anything you lot'd like me to ask.

Questions for the Iranian ambassador
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials
Why reject Kerry's plan to dispose the nuclear waste for you if you do not wish to reprocess it for weapons? Afterall, it saves you the money of having to build a storage place.
