I notice that as Jairyn you banned me without notice. I believe that it applies to each and every separate personality on the board (ie, Screenname) that you must give warning, then notice of banning. I got warning as Verilon, as well as notice, but received neither as Jairyn. I would like to be reinstated as Jairyn or Verilon and continue in debates that I was already in.

As well, I would like to propose a formal debate, a three-on-three with our choice of mermbers from your board, as well as your choice of members from your board. It doesn't really matter which board, as there are ways to set permissions where only certain members can post.

In addition, I request that the rules be posted in BOTH forums, and all posts be allowed in our forum, as they will be either way. I would agree to debating in your forum, but permissions must be set by BOTH moderators (ie, yourself and Darth Wong from over here), and overseen by both moderators.

I would make the debate proposal with creationistalltheway a separate paragraph, and possibly clarify what you mean by support of other members (I believe you mean ask for research help, but not actually have other members post, but it's not totally clear). I would like to see such a debate, even though it would not change my views, merely to see what points would be raised and how certain questions would be handled.

I'm a physics major with a somewhat basic background in cosmology, astronomy and the like, so I'd be willing to take one of them on with regards to young-earth creationism.

I have my own little vendetta against creationistalltheway, and am unwilling to try against SBollinger (despite what I have against HIM). But I hate that board and its denizens. This is why I ask to debate. But I would be glad to hear input from any and all.

So they refuse to debate in a special forum here. Why don't they make a special forum there, grant post access only to the two debaters, and promise not to abuse their mod powers or be guilty of forfeiture?

I hope that some of the people there are realizing what's going on. I mean SBollinger says to PM or e-mail and complaints about stuff. Of course, that is impossible when you have been banned. Damn censorship.

Another idea may be a limited access board where three of us go up against three of them, and all have access to read it.

You will have to spell out something about the use of Bible passages as "evidence", which may well make this effort doomed to fail. They want to bury us under piles of bumper-stickers instead of real research. A bunch of cackling harpies writing "John 3:16!" over and over is not a debate make...

But I'd love to go forth and challenge validity with them with some pointed criticism from Jewish faith that I have been able to discuss with liberal Christians without having to worry about being censored or shouted out...

Okay, I would like, then, to take myself, Alyrium Denryle, and one other (neoolong, Vympel, or Coyote), as we apparently have the most issues with them. I have been banned twice...they cower at the mention of my name. They're not going to want to debate against me, but we choos our own.

I'll have an edited version of the letter up in a bit.

Like I said, take them up in specific fields. If one of them wants to debate young-earth creationism, I'll happily beat his ass. See the "Must Creationists be Cowards" thread. Narrow the topic down so that creationists can't start attacking big bang theory when debating a biologist about evolution.

That's why I request the Wong also set the permissions, as well as SBollinger. And that both of them can oversee them. And the debate topics, as of yet, are to be determined.

Look guys, unless you`re going to do this for fun and vengeance only, I urge you to drop this. A sign of true intellect is knowing better than to argue with an idiot. And debating these people will be like beating your heads against the wall. They are christian fundamentalists. They already know everything they will ever need or want to know. If, for instance, if you were to debate whether the sky is blue or green, and they say it`s green, staring at the sky will not change their minds, because all evidence to the contrary, they KNOW it`s green and nothing can change that.

You bring up very valid points, Mr. Hipper, and I fear that our team will simply be inundated by slogans chants while they keep their fingers in their ears and chant "Nahnahnah...!"

But the truth is, we are giving them a chance to engage in fair joust, a courtesy that they were not willing to extend to us before. Their credibility has now been put on public display; personally I think we should invite mass quantities of outside observers to come and watch so that if they crap out on us their hypocrisy will be magnified that much more. If nothing else, it shows a certain willingness to stick to established principles (free speech among them) that they need to demonstrate.

Perhaps it is corny to say "it's the principle that matters" but I think that in some cases, it does. We stick to ours, should they fail it only provides the crew of the StarDestroyer.net fodder...
