Go use that plant I mentioned above to turn waste plastic, rubber, and other petroleum products back into oil.Admiral Valdemar wrote:They could do if they pulled their act together and invested in heavy oil, but dammit, it's so much easier to get the Arabs to supply us.Joe wrote:AH, that shit about "ending our dependency on foreign oil crap again." I think the process is TDP. Thermaldepolmerization. It might even be cost effective here, given the chemical plants in WV.

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

I wonder if Bush knows we are laughing AT him rather than WITH him.

Quick check: As best I can tell, the total immediate budget deficit (not including deferred payments) under Bush is $946.8 billion. I think I'll have to ask around to get annual data from other years; merely taking the pre-existing deficit would overestimate it due to increases due to interest payments.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.
The only good thing about Patriot is that it is giving my office more money so we can hire part-time workers to help us keep up with all the requests for Birth Certificates because anything but a State-Certified, Raised Seal Birth Certificate isn't worth the paper it's printed under the new rules for passports, Drivers Lisences, or just getting on a plane.

Hell, Canada has the second largest theoretical oil reserves in the world, what with those shale fields. Screw the Middle East; import Canadian oil .LadyTevar wrote:Go use that plant I mentioned above to turn waste plastic, rubber, and other petroleum products back into oil.Admiral Valdemar wrote:They could do if they pulled their act together and invested in heavy oil, but dammit, it's so much easier to get the Arabs to supply us.Joe wrote:AH, that shit about "ending our dependency on foreign oil crap again." More bureaucratic bullshit is good though.
