Dred Scott was in fact 100% legally correct because the Constitution at the time allowed slavery and demanded that slaves be returned to their owners even if they fled to free states.

Kerry really handled the abortion part well - managed to keep the pro-choice side happy without alienating the anti-choice portion. Bush just tried to distort what Kerry said.
