Jobs Report not rosy. This could be the anchor for Bush.

The jobs report came in at less than half what Bush people were saying and 40% lower than what was forecasted. Bush people said 200,000, forecasters, 150,000 and economists said a healthy economy generates 250,000 every month. The number came in at 96,000 and this is the last report until after the election.

Kerry will have this information to hammer home in the last debate. All the bright, rosy comments about turning the corner are going to evaporate with this one.

Nonetheless, I am now looking for another job. Not giving up my current one at present but I expect the search will take awhile....

The entire next debate is on nothing BUT domestic issues so it HAS to come up. Of course we already know Bush's response. He'll spin it as the total amount of jobs he's added in the last 14 months and say nothing about how the proves the economy is not what he says it is.

Hopefully if he tries to pull out the 14 month report, Kerry will mention that during that time, a healthy economy would create 3.5 million jobs, which means we're still 1.9 million short what a normal economy would generate.
