I'll likely call her tomorrow. My allergies are acting up today, and my voice is hoarse and decidedly unsexy. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be better.

ok, this is just what i think, and as all chick brains are not interconnected, she may not feel the same way, but i'll tell you what i think about calling and time limits and stuff. i am so completely uninterested in playing games.....ugh. so, i think the female reaction to when you call centers around how attracted they are to you to begin with. if they think you're kind of borderline cute (not dreamy or anything--*swoon*--but not half-bad either) and you call the same day, that will come across kind of desperate. it will seem sort of pushy because she's not sure about you; hence, a turn-off. however, if she's into you and you call the same day, she'll just get excited because she knows how interested she is in you and vice versa, because you had no problem showing her how interested you were in her. you called when you wanted to, not because of some rule you heard about from somewhere.

of course, this advice is really being given in hopes that ass-girl has more than just killer looks. but even if you are only in it to 'maybe nail her regularly' or whatever, it still applies, i think. although i wrote the preceding paragraph about hitting it off with someone in terms of sense of humour/intellect/interests, i suppose it carries through to looks as well.

Hm ... think she might be reciprocating the 1-day delay I gave her? Then again, I did give her my room and cell phone number. But, my cell phone is out of this area code, so it'd make sense for her to call my room number, which isn't set up for voice mail, because I barely ever use it. Given that I wasn't in my room all day, it's possible that she called it when I wasn't there, got no answer and decided to call back at a later time.

And, according to her answering machine, she at least gave me the right number. :)
