Obi-Wan, AOTC -- Because the ROTJ lightsaber is based off it

No it isn't- Obi-Wan's AOTC sabre is similar, but not the same, to his TPM sabre, and totally different from his ROTS/ANH sabre, which Luke's ROTJ sabre is based off.

Shit, I've never paid much attention to the hilts of the lightsabers...just the colours. I personally liked Dooku's, on account of it being better.

Luke's from Return of the Jedi. Not only was it green, my favourite color, it had the shade tree mechanic feel to it. Qui Gon's is nice too, but Luke's edges it out. It just looks so much different.

I liked Anakin's/Luke's lightsaber from ROTS, ANH and ESB. I like the colour blue, and the hilt itself is a metallic colour as well as being an odd shape. A few of the sabers look very similar to each other, not the same but similiar. Darth Maul's, Count Dooku's, and Anakin's have a distinctive look to them that I think stands out. I also liked the symbology of Obi-wan handing Luke his father's weapon. It had a very mythic feel to it, while Maul's and Dooku's simply looked stylish.

I vote Mace for two reasons:

It's purple (it takes a special kind of man to wield a purplr lightsaber)
It's the one that says "Bad Motherfucker" on it.

Just so people know what lightsabres are out there:

Anakin's AOTC lightsabre

Note it's incorporation of elements from both his/Luke's ROTS/ANH/TESB lightsabre and that of Darth Vader.

Mace Windu's lightsabre

I don't like it very much. It's unique, sure, but the look just doesn't do it for me.

Darth Tyranus' lightsabre

Darth Vader's TESB lightsabre

Darth Vader's ANH lightsabre

My personal favorite. They are of course meant to be identical, but buggered if I know why they keep remaking props instead of just keeping them.

Of course, this is the "weathered" version after it's seen about 20 years of use and mostly just hanging from his belt on Tatooine.

A cool hypothetical from Master Replicas, and I doubt they'll have to make a new one for ROTS, since it'll probably be identical.

They remade Vader's sabre for ESB because all the Vader prop hilts from ANH had been either stolen or lost. So they took one of the Anakin saber props and refurbished it as Vader's, hense the minor differences.

I kinda like Darth Revan's saber now that I think of it. Rather (since they all look the same) the style he used it in the vision with Bastilla and Malak firing on him. He's so cooL!

They really need to have a lightsabre hilt feature in KOTOR 2, so you can design your own. I'm sick of seeing them all the same, it's boring.

Revan's outfit and fighting style in that vision was very very cool. I of course used two lightsabres though.

I think Luke's RotJ sabre is the best looking. And it's the only one you really get to see a close-up of in the movies too.

I also like Obi-Wan's ANH sabre, probable because it looks mostly the same. I heard they built it out of an English WWII hand grenade

Right now my character is a Darth Maul'sy guy, but most of my other games I am a single saber person. I don't like to powergame and not many Jedi really would have the skill to wield two. Roleplaying pwns.
