Q, V'ger and why TNG is so pathetic

I have just had a thought as to why, A) Q takes such an interest in human development
B)why TNG is so feeble.

Some time after the V'ger Incident and Captain Decker/V'ger becoming a god-type life form, the Q noticed. They percieved that at some point in the future they would be weaker than humans, and therefore change the UFP into th feeble weak TNG version we know and love. Comments?

Not a bad hypothosis. Perhaps the first episode of TNG is when this change took place...retroactively so as to change things in the timeline of Enterprise as well?

So the Q are the ones that chopped the balls off the Federation.... doesnt explain everyone else like the Klingons ,Romulans and Borg for example

Prehaps as the klings and romulans have the same ancestor species they emasculated them too? as for the borg, it seems kinda likely (especially given their changin nature) that Q whisled them up and wrote them into the history book as something to scare picard. Besides the borg put a neat little check on any development of the other species. They are moronic yet more powerful than the emasculated AQ

Despite their claims, the Q are not technically omnipotent. In one of the episodes of Voyager one of the Q was made human, if he was always Q this could have been prevented. Before that he was trapped in an asteriod, but was still a Q. If he was omnipotent then how could he have been trapped? Also, in another Voyager episode their was a war between Q and some of them died.

They are extremely powerful, but not really omnipotent, so it is possible that there could be something more powerful, yet also not omnipotent.

The Q are not ommnipotent, in one of the Voy episodes a Q states as much.
