Is it me, or was Jool really happy to see Crichton?

Then the expression, and vocal tone, when she says, "Baby?"

Then again, seeing Chiana and Sikozu fighting those troops in hand to hand in the first episode. Chiana has good eyes (helped her to see the Emperor's flagship's weak points).

Then Jothee takes out all three of those points, and boards. All that was needed then was a Luxan machine gun and grenade launcher, and the scarrans would have had trouble getting to them.

Or, when John and co is asking Dargo where they are, and Dargo tells them to shut up and look down. Dargo and co are no the deck below, and there is a grate between the levels.

Lifts are down, so they open fire upon the grate. Unfortunately, the grate is immune to the little pulses of light, so they stare at the grate for a moment. Then Scorpius drops one of his cooling rods, and nukes the center of it (in a perfect circle).

But, yes, the wormhole weapon was awesome. At first everyone ignored it, but as it kept getting bigger, everyone slowly started to realize that they were frelled unless Crichton stopped it.

But was Stark pretty much the jester in the movie?

Stark's the jester, period. I didn't understand half of what he was saying, because he was babbling so much.

I believe that Sikozu being alive (prior to the planets destruction) may be intended to provide Henson and company an avenue to bring back Big D in the even of more Farscape being done. It would not be the first time characters have seemingly spontaneously resurrected.
The regional governors now have direct control over their territories. Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station.

Not anymore. Doing the thing with the Idelon made him sane.

I'm thinking that if they do more with Farscape, that he'd come back all peaceful like.

The 'hole' in his head is healing over too.

Someone mentioned it earlier and yes, I did notice a difference in Chiana particularly in her first scene

The first scene was exactly what I was talking about, Gigi Edgeley was doing Chiana's voice different or something.

Which means Stark can't make "I need XXX like I need another hole in my head" jokes anymore.

Just finished the second episode. Dang, this miniseries was quite awesome. :D

The wormhole weapon was pretty impressive too. Crichton says it'll "eat the whole galaxy" if left unchecked. Nice.

Something to really get the Empire's Death Star and Sun Crusher running.

Apparently you haven't watched Lethal Weapon 4. ;) VERY funny scene. :D
Shinova wrote:There was an episode where the Moya crew detonated a "makeshift" bomb on the surface of the planet. Said explosion created a hugh white flash that could be seen from orbit with the subsequent mushroom cloud visible from orbit as well.

They said such an explosion would not severely damage a command carrier unless applied to the bridge.

Necronlord has the screencaps I think, and can explain more.
Actually, I took those screenshots. Necronlord took them, and shrunk them down a little. The explosion is EASILY in the GT range.

On Impact:

Just a few frames later:

This is from the season 1 episode "Family Ties" on the moon that held Scorpious' Gammak base.

We also have Talyn firing at full power at Moya in "Mind the Baby" totally blasting away the shield (stolen from the PKCC Zelbineon) and blasting apart the shield generator. (Crichton's line about "Haven't you people ever heard of fuses?!" line is very funny in this scene.) Talyn wasn't very old in this episode either. He later destroyed a depository, which is said to be more heavily defended than a PK Gammak base (which in itself is heavily defended by multiple weapon turrets). We also saw Talyn completely vaporize a ship atleast the size of Moya in a late season 3 episode ("I Yench, You Yench" I believe. Its either that one, or the next.) Then we have Lo'La's main gun completely vaporizing a Leviathan larger than Moya in the first Season 4 episode.

I could go on, but you get the idea.

Chrichton's body count has got to be in the millions by now right?

Minimum.

What was really neat was when the trio of ships was caught up in the wormhole's gravitational pull, you could see chunks of the command carrier being sucked into the wormhole, yet not a damn thing happened to Moya or the Scarran ship. ;) I guess the PK's must've used really cheap bolts. :D

I dunno. I was kinda impressed how the ships were just kinda sitting there while the planet was being torn apart. That's pretty fucking impressive.

I'm talking about the part where its just before they make the deal to call off hostilities. I'll post screenshots when I can be arsed to cut out the commercials of the video feed I captured. (and theres ALOT of them...each bit only lasted ~7 - 10 minutes)

I know you are. But I thought those were something else, like pieces of other ships or pieces of the planet. I think the bridge wouldn't have been deadly still if the ship was being torn apart.

they tried to withdraw, but the gravatational pull was enough to keep em in place.

Moya, Grayza's ship, and the Decimator were both farther away from the wormhole in the first place than the other dreadnaughts and CCs.

The initial explosion was enough to white-out a camera in orbit. And no, it wasn't, it was on an oil covered moon, the fireball however, and that strange blue explosion (especially) are due to the bomb.

Yeah, but they stayed in place despirte a gravitational pull strong enough to tear a planet apart is my point.

if you compare her voice over the different seasons, you can tell her voice changes in the way she applies it, it becomes calmer, more mature. so it makes sense

I'm watching the Sunday Marathon broadcast of FSC:PKW. The plot has a distinctly rushed feel to it. But then, considering that an entire season's developments are being forced into a 3-hr telefilm, this is unavoidable. Sad considering that SciFi won't fund a proper resolution to the series because they need the cash for crap like Ghosthunters and Scare Tactics v.2.0.

Hmm... The ending was rather good. If this has to be the last of Farscape, at least the series got a decent wrap-up.
