Heh, the new Alfie remake was filmed mostly in Manchester and Liverpool despite the location of the film being NYC. You'd think it'd be cheaper to film in NYC rather than make replicas elsewhere.

But if what Affleck says is to be believed, he doesn't like shooting in Canada -- or countries other than the U.S. He called runaway productions "criminal."

"It makes me sick. I can't stand it."
What a whining fucking pussy  Runaway productions? Heaven forbid that an entertainment company go where it can best make a buck.
So I presume that in an effort to save American jobs, Mr. Affleck offered to take a pay cut on those movies to keep them in the US, and then did them in foreign countries only under protest? Hmmm ... interestingly enough, I've never heard of him making such an offer, or such a protest.

As you said, Affleck's a pussy and a whiner. But he's also a no-talent hack, where he seems to have a grand total of two expressions: Sober, and Angry. It's not surprising that he'd blast others for making good films that leave his shit in the fucking dumpster.

Hey retard, that was Ben Affleck. I guess you didn't see the big picture of Affleck with the "criminal" quote under it. Schwarzenegger promised on the campaign trail to end US productions coming from Canada, and now he's following through. And even if Arnold did like filming movies in Canada, that was when he was an actor. Now he's the governor of the largest state in the US. So his priorities have kind of changed from "Places I like to film in" to "What is best for the people under my governance."

Naturally, you can't recognize this, given that you're a knee-jerking, punctuation-deprived retard.
You forgot when Schwarzie got elected governor,he actualy said what i repeated so before insulting anyone think dammit
Let's see a quote. Nothing is mentioned in the article of Schwarzenegger calling Canadians criminals or thieves.

He's the RNC's poster boy right now. If he can get away with calling himself a Republican while simultaneously supporting gay civil unions and a woman's right to choose without being slandered and defamed by his party, I just might bet on him being able to move mountains with faith. Or his biceps.

And he probably called up some of California's congressmen and senators and politely asked them to introduce such a bill into Congress. It wouldn't be hard to rally public support for such a bill, but I don't live in California, so I don't really know how much public appeal went for this thing.

Arnold has a great deal of influence in the state assembly right now, mostly because of three reasons:

1) He's a socially liberal Republican, a rare but popular form of Republican here in California.

2) He goes to extraordinary lengths to gather support from Democrats.

3) It looks really good to be supporting a bill with Arnold's endorsement. Just to show you how big a deal this is, all of the ballot initatives that Arnold has supported have passed.
