Did anyone get any good eclipse pictures?

Post by darthdavid »

I tried, and my mom tried too, but our camera's weak zoom and our lack of tripod lead to some seriously sucktastic shots. So this thread is dedicated to any good pictures you may have taken. If no one posts anything after a couple hours I might bug myself into hosting up one of the sucktastic ones I took...

Almost clear skies, no streetlights, and I forgot to being a camera.

Ah well, next one is in 2007.

I should be able to get you some. Co-worker is an astronomy nut and left work early to set up his telescope and get pics. Give me to around noon PDT

Those are good pictures. I probably would have seen it myself if there weren't so many trees blocking the view at my place.

It's amazing how much the moon looks like mars. At least I thought it does.

A blood moon effect is quite stunning.
