One Nation Under Canada

Post by Wicked Pilot »

While looking for a replacement to the "Under God" portion of our nation's pledge, I realized that our country is technically under Canada. (I know some of you Australians might contest that, saying that South is up, but you really don't matter) That being so, from now on when I say the Pledge of Allegiance, I will replace "Under God" with "Under Canada".

What do you think?
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

No. It was my understanding that we already had them.

Perhaps when the Texas National Guard no longer outguns your army 3 to 1 and when your main battle tank can no longer be killed frontaly by the M2 Brad's autocannon.

Hmmm... how about an entirely new Pledge?

I pledge allegiance to the propaganda of the socialist activists of America
Not to the Republic which they've replaced
One nation, under television
Totally dependent
With equality and safety for all.

Maybe too inflammatory. Too bad.

What you didn't know was that Bill Clinton & friends were actually our secret undercover agents, and their job was to make your military impotent and screw up your society so we could take over your country. Unfortunately Gore lost the last election due to a CIA counter-intelligence setup job and we weren't able to continue our program of crippling your armed forces from the inside. :(

But "under" is too general a statement. Under what? It makes America seem weak. Besides, most American kids don't know where Canada is, and won't get it when they recite it at school.

there´s a song called pledge of defiance by total chaos:

PLEDGE OF DEFIANCE
I pledge my defiance to the flag
for destruction of the native american culture
and to this republic from which it stand
one nation
under god heads
chorus:
I pledge my defiance
no liberty, no justice
for people with low incomes
a country built on blood and power
a country built on inhuman dreams
chorus:
from this day forward
I will do everything in my power
to fight you
to destroy your government
and to burn your flag
destroy everything to do with this inhuman
dream

About seventeen and a half parsecs off. Try thinking of famous people with the initials VKM, or just VM (hardly anyone mentions middle names anyway).

... this thread reminds me of the movie "Canadian Bacon"... so, who wants to steal a garbage truck, paint insults on it in english and french, and do a premptive strick against Canada! :D ...

Could please the Aussies and say one nation under Mexico, but that might insult the city of Miami...
