Save em while you can. Especially the Coruscant battle.
Is it just me or does that Wookie's muscle suit make Chewie look emancipated?

Look up "emancipated" and try that post again.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

I reckon he meant the word "emaciated."

So Anthony Daniels is back in the gold suit? Sweet... oh, wait, he already wore the suit in AOTC, didn't he? Never mind then... but I have to say, 'tis somehow appropriate he's back into the outfit. The skeletal Threepio in TPM always struck a wrong note with me...
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

The short version of the RotS teaser trailer will be shown on 4 November on Access Hollywood, and with most prints of The Incredibles in theatres on 5 November.

New Before the Helmet pic, why I insist I DON'T have, the very thought is repellant to me, seeing such a thing, but the information says that the Jedi objective in the Battle of Coruscant is General Grievous' flagship, the Invisible Hand, and it's viewed from the targeting display of a Jedi Starfighter, which looks exactly like Vader's TIE/X1 display (i.e. four blue cross hairs and a red target representation).

Oh, and the previous BTH pic which I also most certainly pray-to-God (nudge nudge wink wink I'm an atheist) don't have, shows an ARC-170 pilot (Temura Morrison- i.e. another clone) catching sight of TF droid fighters on his six. The helmet he has is a mix of a TIE pilot/ Stormtrooper helmet except with a Rebel/style pull down clear visor. Very cool.

Hmmm, I still think that command tower is rediculously tall. If not the real command centre is in a more protected part of the ship. Still, a cool pic that I didn´t see, unfortunately.

And why would a General command a starship? Isn´t that the job of a Captain or Admiral? (This ties in with General Nadine in ROTJ, he had a cruiser as well :? )

That Clone-pilot helmet would have reminded me of the Y-Wing helmet in ROTJ, if I had seen it, that is.

Josh Griffin at TFN is rumored to have either the script or a rough draft of the novelization. He´s been posting tidbits for days now (probably connected to the fact he´s stepping down from TFN and has nothing to loose by releazing info now. The prick. Didn´t dare before. )

Any way, below are some thing I found interesting:

- Odd Ball is a clone pilot that defends Obi-Wan's crippled ship after he is hit by flak.

- Order 66 is the directive Palpatine gives to wipe out the Jedi. The Clones turn at this point.

- Delegation of 2000 is the united Senators and politicians against Palpatine. They are concerned about his powers. This is the start of the Rebellion, before the Empire even takes shape.

- The possible names of four planets in the CW-montage: Felucia, Saleucami, Mygeeto, Cato Neimoidia

Personally I find it a bit of a more refreshing change of pace concerning planet naming trends in sci-fi.

planet naming trends in sci-fi
Hmm, only naming trends I know of are "names with lots of 'X's or 'Z's in them" or "Roman numeral after every name".

Are there any more?

Yeah, those are the main trends. Using Greek/Latin-based names and purely astronomical names with roman numerals, or generic sounding sci-fi names that always start with A, R, S, T, and Z.

In that perspective, I find Star Wars to be a rather refreshing change of pace.

This may have already been mentioned, but who else has seen the special feature on the Trilogy DVD bonus disk, regarding Anakin?

Looks kickass, and like there is going to be some very exciting stuff in Episode 3. Dare I suggest, that Ep3 might be better than ALL the rest?

I have. The ep. III videogame-doc was surprisingly spoilerish (concept art and all that), and I like seeing a difference in Hayden´s two fighting styles. Fluid and care-free (probably when going up against most enemies, including the Jedi), angry and hard-hitting (The Duel).

The few glimpses of Vader tied to a rack with a hooded figure beside him, made the Ep. III doc a sure win as well. (And scenes from The Duel).

The sheer number of battles and war vehicles have made it an instant win with me. 8)

The first screenshots from the Teaser Trailer have leaked. It's of Anakin and Darth Tyranus fighting on General Grievous' ship, the Invisible Hand, with Chancellor Palpatine looking on, shackled to a seat (you can't see the shackles, but we know from previous spoilers). Obi-Wan is nowhere to be seen (thank god) and there's a Venator-class Star Destroyer (or a similar, unidentified Republic warship) out the window.

I'd be utterly shocked if those pictures, or info about how to get them ended up at darth_manveru(at)hotmail.com. Beyond horrified in fact.

No need for charades, that pic is all over the internet. And the source said it´s NOT from the trailer.

Hmm, the ship in the background seems to have two parallel command-towers. I´m sure I saw other Republic ships with just one. Could this be evidence of several different Republic classes in the battle?

The Republic ships I've seen (and I think it's only one, at this point) have those twin pods.
