For a country often proclaimng itself a champion of democracy, they themselves are missing a few rather critical bits you need to make the election process anything more than a joke.
Hell, look at all the fuss which has been kicked up over the Australian government gaining a majority in the senate. You have a core party of the government coming out and saying that they arent always going to vote along party lines if they dont thing its a good idea.

In Georgia, one voter can challenge another. This is a holdover from Jim Crow when well-to-do whites would visit the polls with their retainers and/ or police (all armed) and say they just wanted to "challenge suspicious voters" -almost always black. Which is why I think black voters should bring camcorders (or friends with camcorders) with them to the polls, so the Ku Kluxing can be documented as well as who is doing it.
Another useful ploy would be for other citizens of good will who see this kind of bullshit (challenging only black voters) to call the poll-watchers out on it and challenge the challengers. "Oh yeah? Prove you're eligible to vote!". Call them out for the inbred racist fucks they are, right then and there. Make a scene. Then we'll have poll-watchers to watch the poll-watchers!
The more I hear about this election the more sure I am that there will be some kind of violence on Nov 2nd.
