You're such a fan-whore.

And nice job with the banner.

Agreed on both counts.
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

You'll want to get rid of those glowing straight edges to make it perfect.

I got rid of the glowy bits. You'll probably wanna fix the part where I had to use the air brush tool instead of the gausian blur filter...

You mean the dark blue "clouds"? Thats a noise filter dude. Its a subtle homage to the crew that did the credits for the TV show. (The credits had Goliath in stone perched ontop of the castle with the background being a dark blue noise that "changed".)

No, I am not talking about your "clouds". Go compare david's picture to yours.

I'm afraid I don't see a difference. It might help if you specified where you spotted it.

Excellent work, well done. It also helps to fuel my own personal anticipation for the arrival of one of the greatest animated series ever created. 8)

I thought I made those objects immune to the light sources! I'll have to rectifiy that.

edit: Updated, see first post.

Why are you using a 3d program to make a 2D image when a 2D image editor like the gimp would obviously be much better suited to the task at hand?

Because its easier for me to use. To do the same work in Photoshop would've taken me easily ten times longer. This took maybe 10 - 15 minutes to do in 3dsmax, and looks a hell of alot better than something that I sould've cooked up in Photoshop. Plus, its a hell of alot easier to change things around if need be.
