So, who do rely on for election results?

Post by Dillon »

I'm personally going to watch the Daily show's coverage of it.

I loved their slogan.

"Watch us get it wrong before the other guys do."

I have no TV. I will therefore do like I usually do for breaking news and political debates, and watch this board's coverage of it. 8)

It's sick, but I'll be watching the Daily show. Their slogan is absolutely correct, and they'll be just as accurate as anyone else once the real result comes in. Plus it'll at least be entertaining.

I put "other", since I really don't care where I get my coverage of the election from, as long as it isn't blatantly innacurate. However, I'm leaning toward watching the Daily Show's coverage of it, for the humor.

Exactly. Nothing puts a damper on the horror of Bush being re-elected like the Daily Show. :P

"Prelude to a Recount." :)

I'll be watching The Daily Show's live coverage, as well.

Various online sites, with probably NBC News or MSNBC running in the background (I loved Tim Russert's low-tech visual aid from 2000, hopefully he'll bring it back).

I'll be hitting up the Daily Show late Tuesday, but during the day I'll probably just listen to what other people are saying.

I really don't know yet. I'll probably watch the Daily Show a little, but I still can't stomach the fact that a parody news show is more reliable and non-biased than most Major News Networks.

Given that the result will most likely come out at 4am here, I'll just wake up at 11 and see what's happening here.

You can watch DVDs on a computer, and I don't really see all that much on TV worth watching. Sure, you get some awesome things like Futurama---but you get a lot of crap, and unless you have a TiVo or something similar, the crap determines when you watch TV. I don't want to be controlled by crap.

If I'm up, definitely The Daily Show. Otherwise, I'll be helping put up whatever results we have on MSNBC.

Watch MSNBC on the morning of November 3rd. Chances are you'll see a dozen graphics made by yours truly :)

Won't it be on an hour early tomorrow night? On at 10pm instead of 11?
