If it gets blown open, say Kerry taking Ohio AND Florida then I think there will be a shitload of pressure on Bush to just let it go. BUT if its close, say like 2000 with Florida hanging in the balance it will get very ugly very fast. My main hope is that current tracking polls are showing both Ohio and Florida trending towards Kerry. In order for either candidate to avoid litigating the results they will need a clear win.

Voting tomorrow for Kerry/Edwards, Betty Castor for Senate, and pretty much straight D, except maybe for Republican Sheriff, who has been Sheriff of my county since I was a child. The ballots are the fill in the bubble next to the name with a black ink marker they provide.

Florida is going Bush... Ohio a toss up and PN going to Kerry...

Going to vote for Kerry tommorow. Though I should, I don't give a damn about the local politics.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

Giant Douche (D) for school mascot (I mean President)

Leigh Pomeroy (DFL) for US House of Representatives District 1 (challenger)

Gene Pelowski (DFL) for MN House of Representatives District 31-A (incumbent)

Frank Double (DFL) for Mayor (challenger)

Challenger for all other positions which it's possible to vote for a challenger.

I'll be voting for the giant douche (Kerry), and most likely go democrat down the line for local stuff.

No goddammit, his correct title is "giant douche BAG", not "giant douche". Have some fucking respect.

Yesterday, Illinois' Republicans decided to run a campaign ad that just pissed me off. Not because it endorsed Bush or anything, but because it encouraged straight party-line voting. They actually came out and said, "On election day, vote Republican straight down the line." What a bunch of fucking assholes.

Kerry/Edwards for President/Vice President

Feingold for Senate

Blue sheet with arrows. Slightly confusing at first...it actually really is, a little.

But but....South Park all but called him a giant douche, the same way they all but called Bush a turd sandwich! :D

Also, when I get to the polling place, I'm going to ask for a paper ballot. They probably won't have it available for anyone, but I'd rather have a paper trail if I possibly can. I mean, other than scrawling on a napkin "I VOTTED 4 KERY" or something like that. :wink:

Sadly no. For some reason, the networks just don't want to run their ads. :)

I just thought I'd say, for one <really> good reason, I voted for Kerry. Bush has his finger almost as close to that big scary red button as Walter Mondale did!!! Even given that JBJ was an evil kid-killer, if I was alive back then, I still would have voted against mondale! Anyways, my, <not quite> humble opinion.

I'm going to be using the touchscreens tomorrow, when I vote for John Kerry, John Edwards, and Barbara Mikulski, among others.
I've always wondered just how hard it would be to actually screw up an electronic voting system. I mean, seriously.

Code: Select all

if( choice == KERRY ) {
    JohnKerry++;
} else if( choice == BUSH ) {
    GeorgeWBush++;
}
Honestly, it must take effort to fuck that stuff up.
Simple :)

if ((choice == KERRY) && (JohnKerry < GeorgeWBush) ) {
JohnKerry++;
else
GeorgeWBush++;

Tommorow, I will be casting my ballot, hanging chads and all, for Kerry.
For Senate, I'll go with the midget [Murray (D)] as opposed to the giant balding six year-old [Nethercutt (R)].
And I'll get to give a hardy 'Fuck You, Dipshit' To Tim Eyman and his latest initiative designed to hose the poor and starve the government of funding.
Watch out, here comes a Spiderpig!
