Then the Jedi is probably just going to dodge one and block the other one.

Actually, if the distance between shots is longer than the blade then the Jedi only needs to worry about one bolt, since a saber blade is about a meter long.

What you need is something like the Spread gun from Contra--cover so big an area that the Jedi can't force-jump away. Then you need a pretty high density of shots so that he can't slip between them or block enough of them with his lightsaber. Maybe if you had a gun that shoots giant Tholian-Web like bolts?

Or you can simple snatch his ass in some three-way autoblaster trap and nail him with the crossfire.
"Gunslinger indeed. Quick draw, Bob. Quick draw." --Count Chocula

"Unquestionably, Dr. Who is MUCH lighter in tone than WH40K. But then, I could argue the entirety of WWII was much lighter in tone than WH40K." --Broomstick

"This is ridiculous. I look like the Games Workshop version of a Jedi Knight." --Harry Dresden, Changes

"Like...are we canonical?" --Aaron Dembski-Bowden to Dan Abnett

Or you need a phaser set to conical widebeam. Yeah, yeah, i know, the stun probably wouldn't affect a Jedi much, but someone had to mention it.

Heir to the Empire tells us that if the Jedi sees it coming and prepares, he can resist stun. It says it in the scene where Mara Jade stuns Luke using a Ysalamiri to sneak up.

Or just blow him away with a giant sonic blaster; like in AotC.

I personally think it's just a matter of shooting him with an E-Web. The sheer volume of bolts would overwhelm him.

The problem is that an E-Web is a tripod mounted weapon and isn't very mobile, unlike the Jedi.

Allow me to revise that statement, then. In certain circumstances, like if a Jedi was roaming around the Death Star, an E-Web would be sufficent. T-21 light repeating blasters would probably work for more mobile situations.

But why would the jedi just stand there, if hes gonna be overwhelmed? Why diesn't he force jum over them of force speed away?
