Well, the first results are in. Bush carried Indiana, Kentucky, and Georgia (no surprise there). Kerry won Vermont.

EDIT2: Connecticut, New Jersey, DC, Illinois, Massacussets, Maine,Delaware Maryland go to Kerry. Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee go to Bush

EDIT3: South Carolina, Virginia to Bush

EDIT4: North Carolina goes to Bush

EDIT5: New York Illinois and Rhode Island go Kerry. Wyoming, Texas, North and South Dacotas, Kansas, and 4 of the 5 Nebraska votes go to Bush.

EDIT6: Everyone's favorite fundie shithole (aka Loiusiana) votes Bush. Mississippi too.

EDIT7: Kerry takes Pennsylvania!

EDIT8: Florida is Red

EDIT9: I'm going with MSNBC and Faux news here.

EDIT10: Ohio is now purple.

EDIT11: Michigan, Minnesota, and Hawaii are blue

Lets say Challenger A is leading his opponent by 20 points. The point of No return and declaring a victor in that state is when the number of counted ballots in that state go to about 85%

All these states have gone the way they're expected. What's more interesting is that Virginia is still too close to call. If Bush loses that, he'll be in bad shape.

Apparently, of the 12,000 votes counted it's 51% Bush, 49% Kerry.
