MSNBC now has Bush listed at 156. :?:
The minor variations are due to calls on split-vote states like Nebraska and Maine.

Tres amusing. West Virginia is called despite less than the population of the capital city having actually been recorded properly and released. Given that Charleston is heavily Liberal, I'm gonna so laugh if CNN gets egg on it's face there...

Quick question. For places like Florida that did early voting, have they been added yet? From what I hear, Kerry did much better in early voting than Bush.

No, they have not. However, the Republicans seem pretty confident that they have the advantage in absentee/early ballots for Florida.

There are on the order of one million absentee ballots and there's no way in Hell they're all counted yet.

You all need to calm the hell down. Bush has a lead right now thanks entirely to the fact that more of the states that closed and reported early are solidly Republican. Kerry didn't even campaign in places like Texas and Georgia because he knew he'd never win them.

And Kerry is running away with Pennsylvania right now.

So far no big changes in the red and blue states from 2000. As predicted from the start, this is hinging on the trifecta of Penn, Fl, and Ohio. The BIG break will be when Ohio is declared. And I have a sinking feeling Florida will not be decalred until at least tomorrow.

Where'd you get those numbers? Last time I checked it was more like 61% to 39% for Georgia.

I'm getting so sick and tired of these reporters (on all the networks) tripping over themselves to point out "We're not jumping to conclusions" "We're being very cautious in our predictions."

We get it morons. We remember 2000....fuckers.

I hear the African American vote in Ohio has not changed from 2000. Very curious considering the get out the vote drive going on strong in Ohio.

If so, then why the hell are they calling the States done when only a fraction of the polls have reported in? What's up with that? :?

In other words, these are based on stopping people who are leaving the polling stations and saying, "Whodidyaforfor?"

Yeah...and that just completely invalidates their claims of "we're not jumping to conclusions". Nevermind, expecting news networks to be unbiased, non-senstationalist, and free from hypocrisy is asking for too much in the land of tabloid style news.
