I was through in twenty minutes. I waited until the line died.

I voted at lunch today. My boss was cool enough to let me take an extra 15-20 minutes at lunch. I'm on call tonight so I did'nt want to risk taking a call at the voting office if lonely dude in server room needed help.
When I got there I had to wait for a few minutes then I got to vote.
My polling place had computers this year. I have to say I liked the
electronic voting. It was quick, easy, and you could verify all your
choices at the end.

Hahaha, Oberlin was mentioned on NPR for having polling places open far later than normal.

I walked a block to my old elementary school with my dad. As silly as it seems, we were trying to figure out how to get in. They only kept the front doors open, which is understandable. So we wasted about 5 minutes walking up to a locked door, then trying to walk around on the pedestrian pavement to the front door, only to find the gate leading to the front pavement was locked. What asinine reason did they have to lock a gate leading to the front door?
So then we had to walk back the way we came and through the parking lot. We entered and saw a sign that said to vote in the gym. We went in, and a Republican Congressman named Muscarella showed me how to use the voting machine. I already was familiar with the machine from voting for the student council at my high school, but whatever. I signed my name, waited for someone to finish voting, voted, and then we walked back home. There were no people taking exit polls. My dad said he never saw a single exit poll taken. Wonder why. The whole thing probably took about 40 minutes.

Anyone play Bach's Tocatta and Fugue or Mendelssohn's War March of the Priests?SyntaxVorlon wrote:At least the music was nice, they brought in Organ majors to practice in the sanctuary for us.
