Is that big or small?
Quite a bit bigger than anyone was expecting, I should think.
Agreed. Also, New Hampshire by going to Kerry becomes the first state to switch party lines voting in this election. AMAZING.

If that trend continues, Iowa will be the second.

Unless he's planning to vote for Kerry, it doesn't matter. John Kerry MUST get 270+ to win. If both candidates have less than 270, it goes to the House and Bush wins. Even if it was Kerry 269, Nader 269, Bush 0, Bush would still win. (Based on my admintidly limited understanding).

Bush would need at least 1 electoral vote to go to the House in the event of a draw.

You know, when this is all over you're going to be a rather enormous target. Hope you have some pretty bullet-proof reasoning.

I'd take his advice, Yar. I mean, I'm a full-blown fascist, but I keep my mouth shut...

Bush seems to have taken the election. The Republicans also cleaned up Congress. The Democrats are in for a long four years.

I was under the impression that the House could vote for anyone they wanted, but you're probably right about needing at least one electoral vote. That would make sense.

Thanks, guys.

Everyone's emotions are running high today, so please follow Spanky and Hemlock's examples and remember to try not to take things out on other board members.
