Absentee ballots and Provisional ballots won't change a thing I assume?
Well, I guess it depends on who usually sends such ballots in, and if it will be enough to offset the 100,000 votes Kerry is behind in the state. (He'd need 7 votes for every 10 cast to make up for it, assuming my math was correct and there are 250,000 provisional ballots as some people had said on the news.

Hmm... If Bush were to lose Ohio, he'd have to get Wisconsin, Iowa, and either New Mexico or Nevada to win.
True. Bush will get Iowa by the looks of it probably both NM and Nevada, but it will be tough for him to come back in Wisconsin.

Unusually enough, it seems he has Iowa, and he's almost certainly got New Mex. As much as I hate to admit it, he's pretty much got it.

New Mexico looks like a shoe-in for Bush, although Iowa is still a bit close, but he could easily win there, too.

Bush is leading in Iowa by more than 11,000. I don't see Kerry winning it.

Have a very nice day.

Yeah, Bush leads by nearly 11K in the Hawkeye state.

Kerry will not concede until all the provisional votes have been counted. This isn't going to be over for at least a week.

Is there any explanation for why the exit polls seem to consistently overestimate Kerry's numbers by 3+ points?

At least ten days, if what I've heard about Ohio waiting that long to count the provisonal votes is true.

CNN's too afraid it'll turn into what Florida was last year. Bush's all but got it. :(

I'm watching CBS. Did CNN really turn Ohio purple?

Okay, I can understand and almost sympathize with Spanky and MKShepperd's philosphy of deliberately trying to be as evil as possible, but how anyone can see Kerry as worse(as in actually worse, not just counter-productive) than W. is just beyond me.

I'm not sure litigating the vote will necessarily be a good move. Americans hated having to wait almost a month to get a clear winner in 2000, and Al Gore had a much stronger case for litigating the vote then than Kerry does now.
