A stunt like running Hillary Clinton might help them in the election, I figure it's help with the female and guilt vote.

Will France surrender to Luxembourg?
Luxembourg is full of Germans- so they might be able to fool the French into thinking that they're Germany.
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

Good god, I hope not. That fucking carpetbagger needs to get kicked the fuck out of my state back to fucking Arkansas so she can rot. If Queen Hillary were to run for president, I'd pray for an errant taxi to flatten her before she could do any more damage.

I hope not. I don't think Hillary Clinton is electable. She'd get pigeonholed as an ice queen.
Will Bush invade Syria and Iran?
Even if he wanted to, the US currently lacks the strength in arms to maintain effective control of what we already occupy.

Rudy will NOT run as presidential candidate for the Repubs. He doesn't fit the profile. Pro choice, generally a liberal republican. Think more Bush as the next candidate.

Now Rudy vs. Hillary for the senate - you bet your ass I'm voting for Rudy. Frankly if Sadaam was let out of jail to run against Hillary I would be a Hussein man all the way. That bitch is the epitome of power hungry manipulative politician. May she rot in hell.

Will Bush invade Syria and Iran?
Not unless he wants to start flinging fundies. We don't have the martial might to do more unless we abandon some of the current projects
Will China invade Russia?

Jeb? He's actually a rather intelligent fellow and much closer to his papa than to his idiot brother. He knows his shit and can take a stand when he needs to. I remember a while ago the administration was making noises about oil exploitation off the coast of Florida, and Jeb basically told them to get fucked, because he wasn't going to allow that kind of threat to his state's biggest breadwinner, tourism. He would have made a much better president and I wouldn't mind him in the office so terribly.

Still... I want McCain '08. Let's see a fucking insurgency by the moderate Republicans. This is one lifelong Democratic who'd cross the lines for a candidate like that.

How about Coulter/Cheney for '08?

Wow. I didn't think that a ticket could be created with less charisma than Gore/Lieberman (a robot and a goblin--how eminently electable!) But Coulter/Cheney would have it's appeal expressed in negative numbers.

I think it's high time the Dems pay attention to history instead of continuing to be condemned by it. Truman was from the Midwest, Johnson was from the South, Carter from the South, Clinton from the South.

Kennedy won from the North but in an amazingly close election where voter fraud was clearly an issue. Hillary looks interesting but carries far too much baggage. Is America ready for a woman President? Are they ready for someone related to Bill? She's also running from NY so she'd have much the same trouble as Kerry.

In order for Dems to win, they MUST field someone who can carry a state or two outside the traditional blue states.

For now I'm just going to hunker down and hope we all escape relatively unscathed from the next 4 years. I personally think the major story of this election is that the hyped turnout by the 18-29 demographic failed to materialize. I admit that I fell for it and failed to learn from history there. While they voted in numbers in some areas, they failed to turn out enmasse and thus the total voter numbers were nowhere near the 115-120 Million that were estimated and suggested a heavy Kerry victory.

They might, the Democrats might be that foolhardy. She'll be a disaster if she does though; Hillary could potentially be a bigger divider than Bush to the electorate.
Will Bush invade Syria and Iran?
No, but Iran's nuke program might well get forcibly curtailed.

And we can certainly expect that offensive in Iraq to go off. As to that I think it might prove to be a good idea. We've reacted defensively for too long and let the terrorists get away with too much.
Will China invade Russia?
If anything it'll be the other way around.
Will Russia stop drinking Vodka?
No.
Vill Ze Deutch Invade Poland?
Nah, if anything it'll be France.
Will France surrender to Luxembourg?
See above
Bookies no longer takeing bets on French surrender times.
Wise of them.
Will New Zealand invade Antarctica
What will the Penguins do?
Has the author imbibed too much whisky?
I'd say yes.

The Beeb predicted that if Kerry should fail it would likely go to Sen. Clinton, but it's early days. May have someone new planned.

Hell, I'm not sure a massive turnout by the 18-29 catagory would've helped. I'm in New Jersey, a traditional blue state, and the numbers of Bush and Kerry supporters seem roughly equal here. It's no less than frightening. Of course, one of the most vocal Bush supporters here is as dumb as a brick. I honestly suspect she voted from him because she likes the color red, but there are people with brains here who support Bush.

Why not? Its not like after four more years of Bush anyone will give a fuck about the U.S. Constitution.

I live in Southern NJ and it felt closer than it turned out. My parents voted for Bush and Bush had lots of "lawn support" whereas Kerry had very little. I might have to move now. <grin>
