I just hope Mayabird's okay. She logged off on me absolutely devastated way back before the Great Lakes states were even decided. Something about martial law and lynch mobs; hope she doesn't do anything stupid.

Concession e-mails away. I've fought bitterly once I found myself on a different postion, shoved there almost against my will. Those battles were against my own friends and family for the most part. There were some victories but in the end, I have lost.

I will not kick a dead horse, the battle against Bush is over. Now I have to salavage some friendships if I can.

Okay, it looks like CNN has gone to bed as well, so I might as well in a little while, too, I guess.

Sleep is for the weak.

Check their senate coverage. They declare the seat in Colorado to Salazar with a 40k margin and eighty-odd percent reportage, but 99% reportage isn't enough to declare with damn near eighty thousand votes ahead for Martinez in Florida, nor Thune's 99% and eight thousand in South Dakota.

Ah well.

Since President Bush has increased his lead in Ohio, I only wanted to congratulate President Bush to the victory! IMO the great people of the United States made the right choice... I hope.

No offense to anyone intended.

I was expecting this, so I'm not feeling too emotional about it. Still, saying this is setting the bar lower for America is an understatement.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

You know, this kinda sucks. I don't want to go to bed before this is over, but it's likely nothing's gonna change until at least tomorrow.

I'll just go to sleep. :(

So a three million vote advantage plus the EV advantage when
the democraps finally concede Ohio and the other states, which
are mathematically impossible for Kerrry to win is the destruction
of Democracy?

I knew Bush was the anti-christ, But SHEEZE, you guys are making

Does anybody really think Kerry can make up roughly 140,000 votes from an estimated 175,000 total provisional ballots in Ohio? Kerry would need 80%, no way. Bush won, I knew this was going to happen.

It happened just as I predicted in my politics society. I was hoping for another result, but let's face it, did we really see Kerry as that major a threat?

Democracy has prevailed, the people have cast their votes and the US population wants Bush, not Kerry.

It would seem the country wasn't as divided as some would think.

it is incorrect because he IS legetimate. He is actually the FIRST legitimate President we have had since 1988, the last time we had someone with a majority of the popular vote.

Shep, lay off the public posturing. So you got Bush in again, congrats. But try and at least be a little civil about it. This rampant spate of attacks on the opposing side and virtual fellatio of Bush is getting tiring.

Chardok: To play Devil's Advocate, while Bush had a screwy election first time around, it doesn't reflect on this current one and therefore, unless a scandal arises now from it, it would seem a legitimate win. Sorry, but at least we tried.

Meanwhile, the rampant attacks against Republicans and the virtual
fellatio of Kerry or any of the democrap challengers on N&P during
the last year or so wasn't tiring or annoying?

This is when we get to laugh all the way to THE FUCKING BANK

There was no virtual "fellatio" of Kerry on N&P. As I recall, most were disappointed with him. More wanted Dean.

Firstly, I certainly never praised Kerry. To be honest, I'd only vote for him because no one else was close (Edwards seemed better to me). He wasn't all that amazing. Secondly, the attacks against Bush on this board, from what I have seen and read, were well justified by the fact that his track record on a global scale is pretty piss poor. Kerry has yet to prove himself and with the way this is going, likely never will. You'll note that a lot of the attacks the Republicans made against Kerry were simply hot air with no substance and appealed to various fallacious reasons.

Thirdly, what did I say about this infantile behaviour?

I've heard wildly varying estimates of how many votes there are left to count.

Most of the posts were "OMGLOL Bush sucks!" bluntly, followed by
said posters fellating themselves over either YEAAAAAAAARGH
or Lurch.

He has his senate record to prove himself.
